Description
The very first CD by Adriaan Valk is inspired by his collaboration with Henk van Ulsen. With him, Adriaan made the performance ‘Job op Schokland’ (1992). Music fragments from this can be heard on ‘Job’. It was also Van Ulsen who urged Adriaan to choose soprano saxophone because of the penetrating sound. Furthermore, the CD contains duets and other compositions, which originated from improvisations.
Performers: Adriaan Valk (soprano saxophone), Brabants Saxophone Quartet (Perspective and Five Paintings), Johan Kloosterhuis and Vincent Bergervoet (saxophones duets).
