On this third CD Adriaan works together with the Iona Saxophone Quartet, named after that ‘holy’ island off the Scottish west coast. This time he writes quartets around four minerals.
Adriaan also has a click with the Senegalese percussionist Pape Seck, as can be heard in their joint improvisation. Adriaan experiences Pape’s African energy as inspiring.
